CAST BIOGRAPHIES

Thomas Fahrner (Fugitive/Paul Daly) is a San Jose native and has been active in the acting community for about seven years, starting on the local stage in 1995. He studied with Dennis Sakamoto at Stage One. He has worked on commercials, industrial videos and a full range of student, short and feature films such as "Luchador", "I, Man", "Hype: the Movie", and "Before You Go". Thomas recently completed a segment on the new Fox television show "In Search of..." where he plays a WWII aircraft carrier captain. Thomas is represented by Talent Plus in San Jose and The Actor's Exchange in San Francisco.

In case you're trying to guess about his 'look', it's a rare mixture. Thomas has made a lot of money on bets regarding his racial background. Thomas is one half Iroquois Indian. His mother hails from an Indian reservation outside of Montreal called Caughnawage. (If you've heard about those Indian ironworkers that come down from Canada to build the New York skyline, they're Thomas' cousins and uncles. He's seen the 'classic' ironworker photo of his cousin standing on a steel beam 40 or 50 stories in the air.) Thomas' strong jaw line comes from his father's German side. American Indian and German, just like Rambo, as Thomas likes to remind everyone. Add some English/Irish blood and that makes him out to be a pure bred mongrel.

John Andrews (Sheriff Ted Brown) As a teenager, John was a New York stage actor/model working off Broadway.  Classically trained, he worked for Joseph Papp’s National Theater doing numerous Shakespeare In The Park productions including “Merchant Of Venice” and “Loves Labors Lost”. After moving to L.A. in the seventies, he did a number of ABC After School Specials and started his signature role as a Policeman on a number of series including “Kojak” and “Starsky And Hutch”.  After taking a twenty year hiatus to work on main-frame computers, John returned to theater in the South Bay doing over fifty plays, including “Jeffrey”, “West Side Story”, ” The Grapes Of Wrath” and “Tony And Tina’s Wedding”.  John is currently doing local industrial films, both as an actor and doing voice-overs and working on independent and student films as one sort of cop or another.  John is represented by Talent Plus Agency in the South Bay and, for major films, the Actors Exchange in San Francisco.

Meredith Elyse Orren (Theresa Daly) is a native of Boston. She has a degree in English from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Upon graduating, she moved to San Francisco with plans to pursue her two passions, television reporting/production and dance. She works at the west coast office of Washington D.C. based The Newshour with Jim Lehrer where she works on foreign, arts and national affairs stories. In her non-work hours, Meredith is active in the bay area dance community. She trains in jazz dance at the San Francisco Dance Center and performs with the hip-hop dance company City Slam. Her choreography debut was for William Finn's "In Trousers" at the Theater Rhinoceros. She studies acting at studio A.C.T. and Full Circle Productions in San Francisco.

CREW BIOGRAPHIES

Thomas Fahrner/Producer. This is his first film production. While not trained technically in film making, he had learned a great deal while watching and listening from in front of the camera. He had helped out and pitched in on many film projects before. Thomas has construction/commercial real estate background as well as a business degree from Cal-Poly SLO, which he says helps a lot. It doesn't bother him to carry equipment or jump in and fix something. He says production is production, it doesn't really matter if your making cars, homes, computer chips or entertainment. But you've gotta known what your doing and have a plan. But he learned what it means when people say: "There's is no business like show business." The details of producing movies are radically different than any other kind of business because of the extremely personal nature of the 'raw material' and the product. Thomas hopes to produce again, with someone else's money.

Sargon Benjamin/Director. Growing up in the Bay Area, Sargon realized he always had a keen interest in images on a 3x5 piece of paper, more commonly known as a photograph. His uncle was a world traveler and occasionally showed him his latest cameras and equipment. While attending High School he purchased his first camera, a 'super 8mm' and started to make short films and animations. He did his editing on a splicing machine that cost $6.99 at the local photography store. The normal college course load of mathematics, law and biology left Sargon lost. In the late 80's he left for Los Angeles where he landed his first job as a film loader for academy nominated Spike Jones. Sargon was so new to the business he thought you had to pay when you ate at craft services. A few months later he landed a job under David Dechant for a television show called "The Power Rangers". In a while he was the 1st Camera Assistant and that's where Sargon really developed his skills. He paid careful attention to camera, lenses, film stock, aperture, angles, and composition. The most important thing he learned was to think of the editing room as you are shooting. After several years with "The Power Rangers" he moved on to working as the Director of Photography for independent films. There he learned a tremendous amount of knowledge for shooting film. In 1999 he decided to write/produce/direct his first feature. Sargon lives in Burbank and works for the daytime soap opera "Days of Our Lives".

Scott Beardslee/Cinematographer. Working professionally in Los Angeles as a cinematographer, Scott's love for film began very early in life. He started college as an undeclared major and he found the three classes that appealed to him most were art, photography and video editing. He quickly discovered that cinematography was the perfect combination of these three elements. After completing his undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University he went to work as a cinematographer in the bay area. After a year he decided to move to Los Angeles and devour a more intense film-training program at the American Film Institute. Scott works in Los Angeles shooting feature films, short films and commercials. His focus is always on feature films as that is his passion.
